OneDrive is useful, but it’s not a backup. It syncs your files, so if you delete something by accident — or ransomware encrypts your local files — those changes sync to the cloud too. A proper backup keeps independent, point-in-time copies you can restore from.

For most businesses, daily is the minimum. If you create a lot of data or work that would be hard to recreate, more frequent backups may make sense. We’ll advise based on what you do.

It depends on how much data you have and what went wrong. We design backups with recovery speed in mind and test restores so you know roughly what to expect — rather than finding out during an incident.

That’s what offsite and cloud backups are for. We make sure there’s always a copy that isn’t in the same building as your servers, so a physical incident doesn’t mean permanent data loss.
