Overview

An independent view, with no agenda

Agencies have an incentive to sell you work. Suppliers have an incentive to sell you their product. A good consultant’s only job is to tell you the truth about your situation and help you make a sound decision. That’s what we offer.

Whether you’re planning a new website, questioning whether your current one is fit for purpose, evaluating a quote from another agency, or working out what to do about a digital problem — an hour’s conversation can save you a lot of time and money.

Website review

Find out what’s actually wrong (and what isn’t)

We’ll look at your existing site with fresh eyes — performance, structure, content, SEO and usability — and give you a clear picture of where the problems are and how serious they are.

  • Independent audit with written findings
  • Priority-ranked recommendations, not a wishlist
  • Honest assessment of whether a rebuild is warranted
Project planning

Get your digital project scoped before you spend anything

Many small business web projects go wrong because they weren’t properly defined before work started. We help you get clear on what you actually need, what it should cost, and how to evaluate proposals.

  • Requirements definition and project scoping
  • Supplier brief writing and proposal review
  • Help understanding and comparing quotes
Technology decisions

Pick the right platform for the next five years

The wrong CMS, hosting setup or software stack creates problems that compound over time. We help you choose platforms and tools that fit your business size, budget and capacity to manage them.

  • CMS selection advice (WordPress, headless, hosted and others)
  • Hosting and infrastructure recommendations
  • Software integration and tooling reviews

Web Consultancy FAQs

A standard review takes two to three working days — we review the site thoroughly, check performance data if you can share it, and produce a written report. We then walk through it with you on a call.

Yes. If your project involves commercially sensitive information, we’re happy to sign a standard NDA before the conversation starts.

Mostly sole traders, small partnerships and SMEs with up to around 50 staff. The problems are usually the same regardless of size, just at different scales.
