Overview

Small changes to the journey, big difference to the business

Most businesses lose customers not through one big failure but through lots of small friction — a confusing sign-up, an email that never arrives, a page that’s awkward on a phone. Fix those and everything gets easier: fewer complaints, more repeat business, less time spent firefighting.

We work with SMEs and remote businesses to understand how people actually experience dealing with you, then make practical changes that improve it. No grand transformation programme — just sensible, prioritised improvements.

Journey mapping

See your business the way your customers do

We map how people actually move through your business — from first contact to repeat purchase — and mark the points where they get stuck or drop off.

  • Every touchpoint mapped: from first enquiry to after-sales.
  • Friction found: the moments that annoy people or lose them.
  • Fixes prioritised: by impact, so you start where it matters.
UX & UI design

Digital that’s easy to use, not just nice to look at

A good-looking interface that’s confusing to use still loses customers. We design screens and flows around how people actually behave, then check them against real users.

  • User research: we design for your customers, not assumptions.
  • Clear layouts and flows: obvious next steps, less confusion.
  • Tested with real people: we check it works before you launch.
Onboarding & consulting

Get new customers off to a good start

The first few days set the tone. We help you design onboarding that reassures new customers, and give you practical recommendations you can actually act on — not a report that sits in a drawer.

  • Onboarding that reassures: people feel supported from day one.
  • Practical recommendations: clear actions, plainly explained.
  • Help putting them in place: advice or hands-on, your call.

Customer Experience Design FAQs

Web design builds the site; customer experience work is about the whole journey — every point where someone deals with you, online and off. The two often overlap, and we’ll say where a design change is the real fix.

For a small business, usually one to two weeks — enough to map the journey, talk to a few customers or staff, and come back with prioritised findings.

It helps, but it’s not essential. We can work from what you have, and often the most useful insight comes from watching real people use your site or talking to recent customers.

Either. Some clients want a clear plan to run themselves; others want us to make the changes. We’re happy to do both.
